Paleo Cookbooks – What is Nikki Young Serving Up For Summer 2013?

“Quite simply, I believe this is the healthiest and most beneficial diet we can follow”.  These are the words of the Paleo Cookbooks author Nikki Young, who delivers her recipes in the form of eight (8) ebooks to her clients.
What we shove in our mouths is of vital consequence.  We can’t digest rocks and tree bark (so far as I know), as our bodies are not of matter designed for such consumption.  Closer to reality, the argument can realistically challenge conventional nutrition by asking why we expect that our bodies should adapt to absorb mass-produced, heavily preserved, and highly processed foods that come through factories.  It is unnatural.  Foods like grains, potatoes, lentils, dairy, processed sugar, and preservatives are a big no-no.
Such is the basic logic of the “Paleolithic” (paleo) nutritional guidance – that we can best nurture our nature by eating in accord with our body’s natural “expectations”.  This is why it is also referred to as the “Caveman Diet” – in the Paleolithic Era, humans were ate what they killed and gathered, NOT what they picked up at the corner grocery.  Summarily, the premise of the paleo nutritional camp is that by eating only what is natural to our bodies, we will enjoy the accompanying health factors that align with proper human function.
So, Nikki Young can therefore purport that her paleo recipes will likely achieve the following for the committed consumer:
  • Increased Energy
  • Increased Sex Drive
  • Clearer, Smoother Skin
  • Weight Loss Results
  • Better Performance and Recovery
  • Stronger Immune System
Very logical, I suppose.  Combing through forums and blog chatter, people who have been avid with paleo diets remain strong proponents (my neighbors across the street swear by paleo nutrition).
There is a lot of material and tons of recipes, and things she throws in as “bonuses”.  Here’s a summary list of what the Paleo Cookbooks package contains:
  • You can enjoy eating 375 simple and easy to create paleo recipes
  • Including 8 recipe categories and 5 special recipe categories not limited to chocolate and paleo breakfast recipes!
  • You will be able to create paleo recipes that help you to stay away from unhealthy sweets and fried foods!
  • You will also receive the 30-day Paleo Meal Plan that you can follow to fast-track your health, energy, vitality, weight loss and achieve many other health benefits associated with following the paleo diet
  • The first edition Paleo Cookbooks containing full color photo’s of every recipe are yours to download absolutely free!
  • And you will receive my 4 Ingredients Paleo Cookbook! The perfect cookbook for quick paleo recipe ideas as well as time and cost saving options.
So there you have it, in a nutshell.  Of course, you can learn more on the Paleo Cookbooks website.

Fat Loss Reviews: Real User Comments

I researched actual user reviews and posted four of them below, representative of the broader pool of feedback which we’ve studied.  There was not a ton of feedback in cyberspace because of the “newness” of the paleo approach, but in the legitimate testimonials I reviewed the users seemed pleased with the recipes and improvement to health from using Nikki Young’s Paleo Cookbooks  e-book set.
Real User Feedback #1:  In my opinion the Paleo Cookbook By Nikki Young is a great book for everyone that loves healthy and delicious foods because all the recipes in this cookbook aren’t only healthy but are very tasty as well. It isn’t hard to cook food that tastes great and is healthy for you, but speaking from my own experience it can be very hard to find a Cookbook that contains 100% healthy recipes. I really liked the variety in the Paleo Cookbook for healthy and tasty recipes for any kind of meal; (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert or a healthy snack). Many healthy cookbooks that I bought before lack this aspect and is one of the main reasons I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy referencing many of my meals from the Paleo Cookbooks.
Real User Feedback #2:  I’ve been preparing recipes out of Nikki Young’s Paleo cookbooks and they have been a life saver.
Real User Feedback #3:  Hey I’m Lucy Fausta Winters, I started my weight loss journey well over five years ago, and have been on the paleo diet for well over 3 years. Since the paleo cookbooks my weight loss has been effortless, and has resulted in me losing well over 40 pounds of excess weight.
I’m not one to brag with huge weight loss figures and I’m not exactly a super model anyway but since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to lead a healthy life thanks to the Nikki’s paleo cookbooks.
Real User Feedback #4:  My Paleo diet results so far…
1) My digestive issues have completely disappeared.
2) My body fat percentage has dropped substantially. Prior to embracing the “caveman diet”, my body fat percentage was approximately 24%. Now it’s at 13% – awesome!
3) No more greasy hair problem. Previously, I had to wash my hair almost every day otherwise, it’ll turn into this greasy gob of mess!
4) I feel more alert at daytime and I don’t feel groggy after getting up from a nice sleep.
5) I noticed better skin quality.

Fat Loss Reviews: Conclusion

Personally, I’ve become very intrigued by the paleo diet principles and logic.  I can surmise from my research that Nikki Young is among the top paleo diet promoters and authors in the niche, and by all appearances the recipe books and bonuses appear to be very comprehensive.  Another recipe book I found, the “Paleo Recipe Book“, looks to be very well put together – perhaps better than Nikki’s 8-item compilation.

Paleo Breakfast Recipes – Here’s a Scrumptious 10 Minute Paleo Breakfast Recipe!

Hello friend, been searching high and low for some lip smacking paleo breakfast recipes? How's the search going then? Not so good?

Well, chin up my friend because here I come to save the daaaaaaaay!

Alright, alright...

I'm sorry for acting a little crazy here as I've been watching some Might Mouse cartoon DVDs with my niece and the cheesy theme got stuck in my head all over again...Sorry!

Anyway, as I was saying, if tasty paleo breakfast recipes are what you're looking for then listen up. I recently stumbled upon a bunch of downloadable paleo diet cookbooks. They are pretty jam packed and you can find all kinds of paleo related recipes in there.

Listen, you just name it okay, paleo diet dessert recipes, lunch/dinner, sandwiches, and believe it or not, even paleo pancake recipes are thrown in as well!

Okay now, don't jump for joy just yet because I'm only going to reveal the place where you can download those cookbooks slightly later on. See, yesterday morning I whipped up this paleo dish for breakfast (a recipe which I got from the cookbooks) and my niece absolutely loved it!

Therefore, allow me to share with you this really scrumptious recipe which can be made in just 10 minutes. It's certainly one of my favorite paleo breakfast recipes so I recommend that you give it a try...

Name of dish: Paleo Breakfast Tuna Patties

Ingredients: 185g of tuna in spring water, 1 cup of potato that has been peeled and diced, 2 whole eggs, ¼ cup of almond flour, ¼ cup of chopped spring onion, 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and finally, just a tiny bit of salt and pepper to taste (yeah, yeah, I cheat on my paleo diet a little - I'm not a true caveman (sob, sob).

Directions:

1) Boil the potato until so soft that you can easily mash it up.

2) Remove potato from the stove and lump it in a sizeable bowl together with the other ingredients. Next, you just mix them thoroughly.

3) Mould the mixture into patties and plop them on a pre-heated grill. Cook both sides until well browned.

Okay there you go! One of the tastiest paleo breakfast recipes ready to be devoured with your favorite mix veggies (my niece had them with ketchup), yum! Yum!

Now before I forget, here's the place where you can download cookbooks that contain God knows how many paleo breakfast recipes and more. There are lots of recipes in there. So if you're interested, just follow this link: http://www.paleorecipecookbooks.info/

Longer Consumption of Green Coffee Has Better Slimming Effects

Have you ever tried to lose weight? If yes, another question is, have you ever tried a weight loss product that is marketed for its slimming effects upon its consumption? If your answer to this question is also a yes, you probably would have wanted to increase its consumption to experience more and more weight loss. The same goes with the Leptin Green Coffee 800, which is a popular and widely known replacement of regular coffee but with much better slimming effects.

Many people have tendency to quickly expect the results by consuming lots of green coffee but for a shorter duration of time. Their reasoning behind this behavior is that if they eat lot of high calorie food, they gain weight faster, and drinking Leptin Green Coffee 800 should also follow the same pattern. In their view, lots of green coffee in a short duration should mean much quicker weight loss in a short duration. However, weight loss does not work in the same way as the weight gain. Leptin Green Coffee 800 works by maintaining the vitality and by keeping the energy levels high. This reduces the fat by increasing metabolism at a constant rate.

The way it reflects in the weight loss is dependent on how consistently you consume Leptin Green Coffee 800 for a longer duration. Studies have proved that people who consumed Leptin Green Coffee 800 for quite long durations had much lower fat percentage in their body than those who had short durations of its heavier consumption. People who continued to drink Leptin Green Coffee 800 continuously felt more active while not losing their physical energy and still kept burning fat consistently.

Green coffee promotes reduction of weight and burning fat without compromising on your health unlike many other slimming products. This is why it is always recommended to consume refreshing green coffee as your regular drink and to patiently experience its results along with your entire fitness regime.

Paleolithic Diet Food List Super Paleo Food List And Recipe Combo For Your Gastronomic Pleasure!

When it came to finding precise Paleolithic diet food list and recipes, part of me felt like giving up! This happened months ago when I was first introduced to the world of Paleolithic nutrition diet. See, there was so much contradicting information on what can or cannot be eaten by a Palo diet follower.  Alright look, we don't have to be so neurotic about it. We do have the choice of adding non-Paleo friendly ingredients in our daily meals. Really, it all depends on your level of strictness.   And besides, there are plenty of seasoning alternatives to juice up the taste of your daily Paleo meals. For example, many folks like to add salt in their dishes (me too!). Now, in the caveman diet list, salt is a no-no item.

So what can you do?
Well, I just use vegetables organic kelp granules or add more sautéed onion, garlic and shallot combo to juice up the taste of my Paleo foods.  Listen, I learned A LOT of about Paleolithic diet food list along with tons of tasty recipes from several downloadable cookbooks. I'll tell you where to get those cookbooks in a short while, but I'm in a sharing mood right now so check out the following food list and recipe first.

Basic Food List
Fruits and Vegetables - Asparagus, avocado, apricot, bananas, capsicum, cabbage, garlic, ginger, leek and lychee are all Paleo approved. Meanwhile, peas, green beans, sweet potato, and chestnuts are not Paleo friendly.

Meats and seafood - Bison, cow, buffalo, duck, poultry venison and veal are alright. Bacon and ham on the other hand, aren't 100% Paleo approved.

Other foods to be avoided by strict Paleo followers - Maple syrup, coffee beans arrowroot and gelatin.

Now, here's one of my favorite paleo diet recipes!

Paleo Turkey Meatloaf

Ingredients:

1 lbs ground turkey, 1 teaspoon kelp granules, 1 onion, 1 egg, ½ cup ground nuts combo ( I combined crush walnuts and almonds), 5 cloves garlic, some black pepper.

Directions:

Combine ingredients well. Next, grease a loaf pan with some olive oil and put the mixed ingredients on the pan. Bake for approximately 70 - 75 minutes.

Now, SATISFY your gastronomic urge with this yummy turkey meat loaf made with ingredients that are in accordance with the Paleolithic diet food list.

Oh yes! About those Paleo recipe cookbooks I mentioned earlier. You can download them by following this link: http://www.paleorecipecookbooks.info/

Why the Paleolithic Diet is the Only True Diet

Excitement over the paleo diet has recently swept across the nation. The paleo diet, short for Paleolithic Diet, is eating only what cavemen would have eaten. It is eating only lean meats, fruits, vegetables, and nuts, with some surprising exceptions.

Going on the Paleolithic Diet doesn't make mean you believe in evolution, but the ideas behind the diet depend on evidence that our cavemen ancestors have been around for 2.5 million years.

It wasn't until 10,000 years ago that we as humans began farming. Before then, and for 2,500,000 years prior, we ate what we could hunt and gather. So, we have 250 times as much history with the hunter-gatherer diet and our genes haven't changed in the last 50,000 years.

So, what does this mean? Our bodies are designed to eat lean meats, fruits, vegetables, and nuts. We are not designed to eat cow's milk, cheese, cereal grains, or beans, to for starters.

Eating the Paleolithic Diet has been gaining scientific community support as well. Using the Paleolithic Diet as a template and proving out theories with studies, we are finding that the Paleolithic Diet is causing people to slim down to their "optimal" weight without being hungry. We're finding that conditions like insulin resistance, heart disease, and cancers apparently being reduced.

There are many diets that come close to the Paleolithic Diet. Many of the high-protein diets are popular because people find that they do really make you lose weight. The Paleolithic Diet is higher in protein than the average American's diet, but it also requires fruits, vegetables, and nuts be eaten while completely avoiding simple sugars, bread, and cheese.

Does anyone really believe that eating refined sugars, cereal grains, and fatty sausages is good for you? How about all the new chemicals and artificial sweeteners we've come up with in the last few years. How long does it take for them to prove bad for us? Stick to the Paleolithic Diet, nature's diet, and you won't have to be the guinea pig for these things.

So, when you plan to start a diet, think about what your body will do best with...foods we have invented and overeaten recently, or foods our cavemen ancestors instinctively ate. Further, since no one really knows precisely what our caveman friends ate everyday, pay attention to current research on Paleolithic-based diets.

With 65% of Americans overweight or obese now, it's time we throw away all the fad diets that obviously aren't working, and return to the all-natural Paleolithic Diet we succeeded with for thousands of years.

Guidelines To Pairing The Best Flavored Woods To Your Favorite Smoked Foods

Are you confused by which smoking woods best compliment different types of smoked foods? You are not alone. Mankind has been cooking over burning woods for thousands of years. Through much trial and error it is obvious that certain types of woods best flavor specific foods, better than others. There are many varieties of wood that are used in the process of both hot smoking and cold smoking foods. The combinations of woods to foods are positively endless. Most people equate the process of smoking with meat, poultry and seafood. There are a great many other choices for smoking however. Cheeses, nuts, vegetables and even fruits are also excellent choices. That being said, there is little wonder that this can be a bit baffling. Exactly which wood flavors compliment what food types will be clarified in this article.

I have been smoking many varieties of food for over 40 years. I believe that the flavor introduced into the foods through the smoking process makes the food some of the finest culinary tastes in the world. The key here is that the wood should compliment the flavor of the foods not overpower it. When I began smoking many years ago it was very confusing to me as to which species of wood I should use with which food. Although many people have personal taste preferences, there are certainly general rules to follow. With a vast array of choices, I will do my best to try to simplify this for you.

First and foremost, there are many woods that absolutely should NOT be used for food smoking. Some of these woods are actually toxic to human beings while others just impart a horrible flavor. The general rule of thumb is to avoid the evergreen family. Some of the woods to avoid include, cedar, cypress, elm, pine, fir, redwood, spruce and sycamore. Now that we know what NOT to smoke with, let's get onto the good and flavorful woods that you should use.

There are many woods that you can smoke with. I am going to elaborate on the top choices, finest tasting, and most popular smoking woods. Fruitwood trees are amongst the most popular with the seasoned food smokers and are well known for their sweet delicate flavors. This list is organized from the mildest smoking woods to the most robust.

1. APPLE - Mild flavor, light sweet taste, and imparts a fruity smoked flavor.

Best foods - Beef, Poultry (especially game birds), Pork (in particular hams), Cheddar Cheese and Oysters

Foods can be smoked for longer periods of time due to the mildness of this wood. Excellent for cold smoking.

2. CHERRY - Delicate flavor, sweet taste, and also imparts a fruity smoked flavor.

Best Foods - Poultry (especially game birds), Pork, Scallops, Eggplant, Bananas, and Cheeses

Foods can be smoked for extended periods of time due to the mildness of this wood. Excellent for cold smoking.

3. ALDER - Mild delicate flavor, with an impressive and unique taste.

Best Foods: The traditional choice for Salmon. Swordfish, Sturgeon, Halibut, Steelhead, Prawns, Shrimp,

Rattlesnake, Chicken and Corn on the Cob.

Normal standard smoking times are the rule. Another good choice for cold smoking.

4. MAPLE - Somewhat sweet and imparts a mild smoky flavor. Try mixing maple with some corncobs for bacon.

Best Foods: Poultry, Hams, Lamb, Vegetables (especially acorn squash), Tuna and Salmon.

Normal standard smoking times apply. Great for cold smoking.

5. PECAN - Delicate but rich, similar to hickory. Burns cool and is ideal for low heat smoking.

Best Foods: Pork, Chicken, Turkey, Lamb, Wild Game, Fish, Cheeses and Portabella Mushrooms.

Normal standard smoking times apply. Popular choice for cold smoking.

6. OAK - Somewhat strong but pleasant flavor without being over powering. The most versatile of the hardwoods.

Best Foods: Salmon, Beef (particularly brisket), Buffalo, Elk, Poultry and Lamb.

Slightly shorter smoking times due to the slight intensity of the wood. Good for cold smoking.

7. HICKORY - Strong, pungent, bacon like, smoky flavor.

Best Foods: Beef, Pork (spare ribs, sausage), Chicken, Lamb, Fish, Venison, Moose, Cheeses and Almonds.

Shorter smoking times result in rich flavors, longer smoking times may overpower. Good for cold smoking.

8. MESQUITE - Strongest, but sweeter and more delicate than hickory. Tends to burn hot - use carefully.

Best Foods: Most Meats (especially beef), Wild Game, Chicken, Peanuts, and Vegetables

Not for long smoking. Popular in restaurants where foods are cooked for short periods of time

Is your mouth watering yet? On an interesting note, I have also smoked with wine and whiskey barrel woods. If the woods are available to you this is a fun, unique and very flavorful way to smoke. The wine barrel wood infuses a subtle, sweet and fruity taste, whereas the whiskey barrel wood has a more pronounced and woodsy taste.

Many of us own today's modern smokers designed to simplify the smoking for us. I personally own a Bradley Digital Electric smoker and it is just fantastic and offers very low maintenance smoking. The Bradley smoker uses all of the above wood flavors in custom wood bisquettes which are auto dispensed into the smoker. For those of you who do not own a smoker but love charcoal and gas grilling, fear not. Simply take your wood chips and soak them in water for about 20 minutes then add them to the top of the coals, immediately before adding the food. For extended grilling times try adding additional chips every 5 - 10 minutes to keep the smoke flavor on going. The more chips you add the more intense the flavor becomes. You will enjoy.

It has taken me many years of experimentation and note taking to make sense of the above list as the possibilities are truly never ending. I have learned that some foods cooked with improper woods produce poor results. If one would follow the above list as a true and honest guideline, you cannot go wrong. To further elaborate on the smoking possibilities, I sometimes blend two or more wood flavors together to come up with really unique and interesting flavor combinations. There are many people who have never smoked foods and they have truly deprived themselves of one of the finer things in life. I feel that everyone owes it to themselves to experience the art of smoking and put an end to food boredom once and for all.

Paleo Diet Cake Recipes – How to Bake a Lip-Smacking Paleolithic Pecan Nut Cake

Are you looking for some delectable paleo diet cake recipes? Ah, did I hear you say "yes"? Okay cool, because I want to share with you my methods of baking a Paleolithic style pecan nut cake.

It's quite easy to do so - just follow the step-by-step instructions. I'm sure it'll turn out alright.

You know, recently I tried my hands on a few paleo diet cake recipes which I learned from a digital cookbook set and they all turned out okay.

One of the first paleo cakes I baked had a really burnt look, but surprisingly it tasted awesome! Heck even my fiancé' liked it a lot and she's doesn't even follow the caveman diet. Cool huh?

By the way, if you're interested in downloading that paleo cookbook set just follow the link at the bottom.

You'll find lots of tasty paleo recipes in those cookbooks - seafood, beef, chicken, cookies, noodles etc. I don't recall the exact number of recipes, but they do have several paleo diet cake recipes.

Okay I should stop blabbing now. After all, you want to know how to make that paleo pecan nut cake right? So, let's begin!

You'll need these ingredients: 600 grams of pecan nut flour, 30 grams of macadamia nuts, 30 grams of shelled walnuts, 60 grams of raisins, a bit of rosemary and finally, 3 tbs of olive oil

Directions:

Step 1

Pour pecan nut flour into a mixing bowl and stir it around .Next add about 800 ml of water but don't pour the whole jug into the bowl. Instead pour in a gradual manner and repeatedly stir the flour to ensure that lumps do not form.

The mixture must not become too drippy or thick so stir until it is absolutely smooth.

Step 2

Raisins should be soaked thoroughly and the excess water squeezed out completely. Next, drop macadamia nuts, walnuts, raisins and 2 tbs olive oil into the mixture.

Step 3

Grease a shallow cake pan (cake height shouldn't be more than 1 cm) and pour the entire mixture into it. Use the remaining olive oil (1tbs) to drizzle over the mixture and add some rosemary on top of it. Heat oven to 180°C. Place the cake pan in the oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes.

Step

Wait 20 minutes or so for the cake to cool down. Now grab a fork and start gobbling on what I feel is one the best paleo diet cake recipes around!

As mentioned earlier, you can get tons more paloelithic style recipes...Stuff like cherry balls, choco nut bar, coconut choco cake, omelets, beef, chicken and even more

Paleo Diet Snacks – Presenting the Quickest Way to Get Heaps of Incredible Paleo Snack Recipes

I used to feel sick of dieting the Paleo way simply because there was a lack of simple and tasty recipes on paleo diet snacks. Naturally, I turned to the internet for help but alas, surfing for hours online in search of quality Paleolithic diet recipes proved to be futile.

See, I discovered quite a large number of recipes that were supposed to be "Paleo-friendly" from an all-in-one-place recipe website but the problem was...

Those recipes did not adhere to guidelines set by the Paleolithic diet rules!

Now, I understand that some people do not follow the rules vigorously, thus may wish to add one or two non-Paleo food ingredients to enhance the flavor of a particular recipe - but still...

Great tasting paleo diet snacks recipes were very difficult to find!

Okay to cut a long story short, I finally uncovered a really quick way to obtain heaps of not only snacks, but also Paleo appetizer, main course, dessert and even special sandwich and noodle recipes that can all be prepared without breaking the Paleo guidelines.

Here's how you do it...

What you should do is access a registration-free Paleo diet foods discussion site. The members in discussion/chat sites are very generous and they're always willing to share helpful information including recipes and resources for the benefit of all Paleo diet practitioners

In fact, one of the site members (Special thanks to user name:paleocaveguy82) was so kind enough to point me to a site where I was able to download digital cookbooks containing more than 300 Paleo recipes. Incredible stuff!

Now, I have all sorts of ideas on how to conceive Paleo diet snack recipes that are not only easy to do, but taste wonderful as well.

Anyway, you can also download an entire set of Paleo cookbooks that are chock full of tasty recipes, all in-one-place. Very handy reference so download by following this link: http://www.paleorecipecookbooks.info/

Dessert Recipe 1: Paleo Coco Pudding

Ingredients: ¼ Cup of carob powder, 1 tablespoon raw honey, 1 medium ripe banana, 2 small ripe avocados

The Secret Is In the Sauce – A Raw Food Chef’s Taste Trick - LearnRawFood.com

My name is Jennifer Cornbleet, but sometimes when I'm cooking, my alter-ego -- 'Saucy Susan' - takes over. You see, I love what sauces do for the flavor and texture of a recipe, and I'm always looking for ways to sauce-up a meal or snack.

The problem is that I don't like what the ingredients in traditional sauces do for my waistline or my arteries. That's why it was important to me to re-imagine sauces in both of my raw cookbooks, Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People and Raw for Dessert.

You might be wondering what kind of sauce recipes would be appropriate to a desserts cookbook. Raw food sauce recipes, like their traditional counterparts, can be sweet or savory. Some of my favorite raw food sauces serve as the 'crowning glory' on ice cream sundaes.

So in this article, I'd like to invite everyone to 'get sauced' the healthy way...with some delicious raw food sauce recipes that you can whip up in no time.

It's the Sauce, Silly

Do you know where a lot of the flavor can be found in a dish? That's right! In the sauce. After all, isn't fettuccine just pasta until you spoon on Alfredo Sauce? Isn't a vegetable spring roll just 'bunny food' until you give it a whole new personality by drizzling on a spicy, flavorful Thai-style peanut sauce?

Imagine ice cream without hot fudge sauce. Or think about where a certain fast food giant would be today if it served two all-beef patties, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onion, on a sesame seed without 'special sauce'?.

It's easy to see that to get more flavor into every bite, the secret is in the sauce. What is less easy to see is that the ingredients that go into typical sauces - like butter, cream, high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, refined sugars, etc - are not healthy.

For example, there are 850 Calories in a single serving of Fettuccine Alfredo from Olive Garden and 432 of those calories are from fat. As for the Big Mac, it has about 560 calories...with nearly 100 of them coming from the sauce which is made from salad dressing, pickles, and brown sugar.

Dessert sauces are the biggest culprits when it comes to sneaking in fat and calories. A two-tablespoon serving of a commercial hot fudge sauce manufactured by Smuckers, for example, has 4.5 grams of fat and 18 grams of sugar. That doesn't sound so bad if you can limit yourself to just two tablespoons...but I know that I can't!

There are other problems with traditional sauces, too, that occur because of the processed foods used to make them. The recent problem with commercial peanut butter underscores how much healthier it is to use ingredients that come straight from your garden...or your local farmer.

That's the whole theory behind the raw food movement: using fresh, local ingredients to make delicious meals and snacks. So I've found ways to make Alfredo without the cream...peanut sauce without the processing...and lip-smacking dessert sauces without a hint of refined sugar.

Care to join me for a dip into sauces?

Raw Food Sauce Recipe Ideas

Raw food sauces are (you've heard this phrase before) delicious and nutritious. For example, my recipe for raw food Fettuccine Alfredo dresses translucent ribbons of pale green zucchini with a sauce made from soaked cashews and a tasty spice blend. Believe me; you won't miss the cream or the butter (or the fat and calories).

If you like your sauces green instead of white, try my raw food Pesto. Like the original, my recipes calls for basil leaves, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pine nuts. The only difference is that the pine nuts are raw instead of roasted.

One of my favorite raw food sauce recipes is the Mock Peanut Sauce that I created for Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People. Traditionally, this sauce calls for roasted peanuts, but I use raw almond butter instead. As well as retaining more nutrients, I think raw almond butter actually tastes better in the recipe.

You can make your own almond butter or purchase it in stores. Just make sure you choose raw almond butter.

Mock Peanut Sauce

• 1/2 cup raw almond butter

• 1/4 cup water

• 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

• 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

• 2 teaspoons tamari

• 1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic

• 1/4 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

• Dash cayenne

• Dash salt

• Place all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth

This simple raw food sauce can be kept for up to five days in the refrigerator. Drizzle it over your favorite veggies at lunch or dinner or use it as a dipping sauce to add Asian flair to the crudités your serve at your next party.

Every Day Is Sundae

I created my raw food Chocolate Ganache Fudge Sauce for all the chocoholics I know (including me!), but I never miss a chance to introduce people to my rich, nutty Caramel Sauce. Instead of the butter and sugar of a traditional caramel, this nutty brown sauce call for dates, cashews, vanilla...and dark agave syrup.

Agave syrup (also called nectar) is a natural sweetener made from the juice of the agave plant. I use the dark version in this recipe to give the caramel a deep, molasses-like flavor and color.

Raw Food Caramel Sauce Recipe

• 1/2 cup raw cashew butter

• 1/2 cup dark agave syrup

• 1/2 cup Date Paste (see below)

• 2 tablespoons vanilla extra

• 1/8 teaspoon salt

• Place all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

Date Paste is made by soaking Medjool dates in filtered water and then processing the fruit along with the soaking water into a paste-y consistency.

This caramel sauce is a 'natural' when it comes to topping off a raw food ice cream sundae where nut milk replaces the dairy variety. It's also amazing on top of cake or in-between the layers.

For a really decadent dessert, you can drizzle Caramel Sauce and Chocolate Sauce over ice cream and top with crushed raw nuts and dried fruits. Amazing!

When You Want to Warm Up After a Cool Down

Like the savory raw food Mock Peanut Sauce above, the sweet raw food Caramel Sauce can be stored in the refrigerator. To take the 'chill off' before serving, follow this simple process:

• Place 2 inches of water in a saucepan and bring to boil.

• Turn off the heat.

• Place a small bowl of sauce in the hot water (The sides of the bowl should be high enough so that the water from the saucepan cannot flow into the sauce)

• Let sit for 20 minutes

• Stir to achieve proper consistency.

As an alternative, you can place the bowl in a food dehydrator at 105 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

Interested in buying a dehydrator? Want to know where to get raw nuts? I've got information about products and ingredients I use and recommend at Raw Food Equipment and Serving Ware. There's a quick description and when I've been able to find them, links to purchase items at Amazon.com

Enjoy!

Paleo Diet Meal Plan – Here's a Paleo Meal Plan That Will Satisfy Even the Fussiest Wooly Mammoths

Repeat after me: "I'm capable of dishing out a sinfully delicious paleo diet meal plan that will rock the appetite of even the fussiest Wooly mammoths."

That's right! We paleo diet followers can cook up a storm in the kitchen. You see, I dislike hearing ignorant comments made by people who do not follow this diet. They say we only eat awfully bland Paleo dishes...They are so wrong!

Now, Wooly mammoths from the Paleolithic era have long gone from this world, but we caveman of the 21st century are here and ready to prepare high quality Paleo recipes, right?

So without further ado, here's a very satisfying 2-course Paleo diet meal plan (more Paleolithic recipe resources are included at the end of this piece). If those mighty Wooly mammoths are alive, surely they will lap up these dishes and may even ask for a second serving!

Meal 1 (Appetizer):

Beef and Carrot Curry Soup

½ Cup of coconut milk

1 Large onion

1 stalk of celery

½ Tablespoon of red curry paste

1 Table spoon of olive oil

½ Cups of walnuts

1 ¼ Cups of carrots (diced)

2 Cups of water

A drizzle of honey

A couple of pinches of white pepper

Directions: First you sauté the celery and onion. Next, put in the walnuts and carrots and sauté once again for about 5 minutes. Pour 2 cups of water, close the lid and simmer for about 10 - 15 minutes. Now place them in a blender, pour the coconut milk and blend away until the ingredients become soupy.

Add pepper as well as the curry paste and blend again. Finally, drizzle the soup with some honey and enjoy.

Now let's complete this 2-course Paleo diet meal plan with one of my favorite dishes...

Meal 2 (Main Course):

Scrumptious Paleo Shoulder Pork Roast

A large piece of lean pork shoulder

½ Cup of fresh cilantro (finely chopped)

½ Cup of fresh sage (finely chopped)

½ Cup of fresh parsley (finely chopped)

5 - 7 cloves of finely chopped garlic (I love garlic!)

2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon cumin

2 teaspoons dried oregano

¼ Cup of olive oil

Directions: Place all ingredients (except for the pork shoulder, of course) in a bowl and stir them around for a good couple of minutes. Make sure they are nicely mixed together.

Now, put the lean pork shoulder on the oven and rub the blended ingredients all over it. Massage the meat with those ingredients (man I'm drooling already). Finally roast the shoulder for approximately 40 minutes. I usually cook a pound of shoulder and it takes around 35 - 40 minutes to roast.

Take out from oven and enjoy! They say Paleolithic diet foods are boring? NOOO! The above 2-course Paleo diet meal plan is the real deal my friends.

Okay! I hear someone is looking for some finger-licking paleo diet breakfast recipes. Is it you?

No worries though. Right after the following recipes, I'll show you where to download copies of jam-packed Paleo cookbooks.

For the time being, here are two of my favorite paleo diet breakfast recipes:

Recipe (1)

Fennel and Cucumber Combo with Over-Easy Eggs.

Ingredients:

Eggs cooked over easy

Cucumber about 3 inches, diced and seeded

¼ of a big fennel bulb, also diced and seeded.

¼ Tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

4 - 5 Kalamata olives, finely diced

½ lemon zest

1 Tablespoon olive oil

A tiny pinch of sea salt

Directions:

Just thoroughly mix the above ingredient and then lump them together with your eggs. The fennel goes really well with the egg yolks. Absolutely tasty!

Alright now, for a truly satisfying Paleo diet breakfast meal! Let's cover...

Recipe (2)

Paleo Egglamb Sandwich

Ingredients for 'Paleo-friendly bread'

1 large egg

1 cup of shredded coconut

For sandwich filling

Fried shredded lamb

Eggs done omelet style

Directions for making the Paleo bread:

Put shredded coconut in a blender. Next pour blended coconut into a bowl, add the egg and stir well. You'll end up with a batter than can be shaped like a pancake.

Grease a skillet with some olive oil and fry the batter. Flip to cook both sides. Now that your "Paleo bread "is ready, just pile it together with the omelet and shredded lamb. The result? Paleo diet breakfast meal that is sinfully yummy!

What is the primo diet to slim?

All the authors of diet would tend to claim that their program of weight loss is the best!

Personally I divide the opinion of the researchers of the University of Tufts which concluded that to have the most important success this is not the contents of the diet, but if this is what is appropriate for your temperament and your personality, that means a diet that you can follow without difficulties, without having the impression to make an effort or a sacrifice.

They studied 160 people during one year, who followed one of the 4 most popular diets: the diet of Dr. Ornish, of Dr. Atkins, the Zone of Barry Sears, and the Weight Watchers program. The goal of research was to determine the assiduity of the participants to follow the program. The rates of abandon (leave) over one year were the following:

Ornish: 50%

Atkins: 48%

Zone: 35%

Weight Watchers: 35%

For the people who had the assiduity and continued the program on the complete year, the results were similar, it do not matter the followed diet, that is to say 25% of the participants lost 5% of their body weight and 10% lost more than 10% of their body weight.

The benefit on the parameters of cardiac health were also similar with a significant decrease of the bad cholesterol (LDL) and a reduction in the rate of insulin presents in blood.

These results indicate to us that finally these four diets allow to lose weight in so far as one follows the plan over one sufficient period of time.

Another study of the University of Missouri, in the United States consisted in lending a dog to each participant, in a case for 26 weeks, another case for 52 weeks.

The hints wconcerning incite citizenry to leave their home also to to walk a day. Majority of the participants were not inside excellent fitness also to skilled of corpulence (fatness).
The consequence were the following: the participants who older themselves entrusting the duty of a puppy throughout 50 weeks missed about to happenual 7 kilos (15,4 lbs), which is a consequence certainly over those acquired by the certain detected nutrients.

Because aspects the participants who lodged a puppy throughout 26 weeks, they didn't lose fat.

30 years ago of that, Doctor Jean-Pierre Desmets managed the Marcel Rouet Psycho-Center in Brussels. One applied a program based mainly on the mental control of the appetite. One also recommended to the patients to begin the program by a diet holding account from certain food combinations, without prohibition or limitation of food group. One used also a treatment using the capacity of essential oils.

The results obtained were spectacular and the Doctor Desmets described, twenty years ago of that, the complete program in a work which had been ordered for the US market and English speakers.

To return from there to the question of which is the best program of weight loss,I am return' in thus return to the conclusion of the study described at the beginning of this chronicle, the best program is that which you will be able to follow without constraints. That which corresponds to your temperament, a program which does not require a restrictive discipline of you and which you could find difficult to follow.

He does not believe much in the programs which put a too large emphase on the calculation of calories and limit allowed food. Its experiment in this field showed that it is not necessary to follow a mode of famine to lose weight, quite to the contrary. A good program will not be too restrictive, it will make it possible the person to eat with his hunger and to find his instinct of food favorable to health and the maintenance of a standard weight.

A good program will support the relaxation and the control of the stress, a large person in charge of the catch of weight, it will also support the movement and the exercise, but in a natural way and without that being an excess of efforts very often above the physical capacities and the mental will of the person seeking to lose weight.

Quite a baffling field. The collection of the diet is not the superfine but really what category of fast direction you can arise on a longish term: Burn Fat Fast
